Group 1 surface area:I heard that surface area does affect evaporation because the wider it is the faster it will evaporate.

3 p I see that They put different stuff in different locations and I think They were figureing out If location effects evapation.I wonder that if they put it in the same spot what would happen?

Presentaion 1 I heard that the one with the biggest surfuce area evaporated first. I think that if the smaller cup had more I think it will evaporate a little bit.

I learned that if it is closed it does effect because if the containir is closed it won't evaporate but if it's open it evaporates.

Presentation 1 surface area I saw that the smaller container it evaporates slower but the bigger container evaporates quicker and surface area does affect evaporation.Their findings wonder me how can the bigger container evaporates quicker and it makes me think that if water can evaporate then salt water can evaporate.

Presentation 2 I learned that that when water is heated it evaporated the molecules rose up and the temputure went hot. They put many different cups they put cups with ice in it and they put one cup with hot water then they all turned into room temp.

Presentation 2: I learned that evaporation goes in a quicker cycle when it is heated up and since the hot water boils,it would turn into steam and when water is slowly evaporated it turns into a gas and combines with the air.

I see that the closed container starts evaporating but the walls of the surroundings makes the molecules rise but bounce of the surface.I think that is happening because molecules can fade into the air and turn into a gas (evaporation) but it can not turn into the corridor next to it and get right through it. What if one part was open but another was closed?

From the TEMPERATURE group I learned that hot water evaporates quicker than cold water because the heat from the hot water makes the molecules rise faster.

From the Open or Closed lid group I learned that if there is no lid the water will evaporate but if there is a lid the water will not evaporate because the molecules can not get out of the container but when there is no lid the molecules can rise up and out of the container.

Group 3:I noticed that they were talking about if you put water in a cup in different locations which will evaporate more. And I learned that and cup with water will evaporate at least a little bit.It did take a little bit time for the water to evaporate.I think that the cup by the door evaporated faster because it was blowing warm air and the hotter the faster it will evaporate faster.I wonder if you put it in a very very cold place will it evaporate and how much time will it take.

I learned that the hotter the water is, the quicker the water evaporates because it turns into a steam. But when the water is cold, it evaporates slowly as it turns into gas and it mixes with the air. I also learned that different tempatures of hot water from boiling water to room tempature water, if you put on a lid, it forms different gases that you can on the lid. ( examples. Beaded gas, steam gas, little gas...). I also learned that the hotter the water it is, the sooner it evaporates. When you have cold water, when you set it, ( have to have at least three ice cubes) after a couple minutes, you can see a little bit of frost on it. Just like when you put any type of water or any tempature of water in the freezer, the cup might have frost on it. Also when you put a cup in the freezer, after a while the out side of the cup has confiscation on it. ( beaded water ).

I learned that cups of water in different places will evaporate at a different speed. No matter what tempature of water, water will always evaporate. The wind also helps the water evaporate. In warm air, at least two days later, the water will evaporate completely. Out side if it is cold out side maby two days later it will freeze and only evaporate a little bit. If you put water in a bag, if you love it out, it will evaporate out of the bag. I think this because air is slim enough to to slip through the bag. But water isn't slim enough to slide out of the bag unless it isn't closed all the way. Even if you put it in the freezer in different places, some will evaporate more and some will evaporate less because some places has more cold air like maby the back of the freezer. Or under the place where the cold air is coming from.

I learned that if you have a cover and don't have a cover, it does effect evaporation. If you have a lid on, the water will start to rise up and then bounce around in the container because there is a lid on so it cannot rise up and evaporate. If you don't have a lid on, it can evaporate because the lid is what is blocking the water from evaporating. If you don't have a lid on it can rise up and evaporate but when you have a lid on, it can't evaporate.
