Now that you have generated, sorted, and made connections between your mathematical ideas, explain your thinking in greater detail.
Find a new idea you developed or connected and tell us more about your new thinking. What wonderings do you still have? CLAIM --> SUPPORT
Think of the books that you want to recommend for the class to read! Once you have a great book in mind, add it to our class blog! 1. Write the book title and author. (Example: The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane by Kate DiCamillo) 2. Make a claim (Example: You should really read the book, The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane.) 3. Support your Claim (Example: The reason I think you should check out Edward Tulane is because it's a book that really makes you connect to the characters and also takes lots of twists and turns! We also found that this book made us feel many different emotions!) DON'T GIVE THE BOOK AWAY!!!! 4. Where can I find it? (Example: Miss Donovan has a copy of this book in her mentor text bin and there is also a copy in the Bemis library). |
