Leader Dogs for the Blind is an organization that has been training guide dogs for over 75 years. Leader Dogs provide independence for thousands of people around the world. We have a future Leader Dog named Dewey at school with Ms. Apol this year! As a puppy raiser, Ms. Apol is asked to help prepare Dewey for his job as a guide dog by exposing him to many different kinds of people, vehicles, environments, and animals. His daily care and training will help him begin guide dog training. How can you help? |
