I agree too! Will the U.S. ever adopt the Metric System? The U.S.A. is the only country in the whole entire WORLD that doesn't use the Metric System. China does, Canada does, Peru does, and France.

I also wonder if the U.S will adopt the metric system nine tenths of the world uses it and one tenth of the world uses The U.S Standerd.Dosn't the U.S feel left out because only they use The U.S Standerd.😊

I agree because the school districts around the country are teaching the u.s. standard an metric system so in future the country may adopt the metric system in the future.

One of my ideas was scale, balance, weight. If you think about it weight can go into balance because a scale is used for balancing and you need weight like grams if you want to find how much something weighs.

I learned that PITCHERS are the non-standard unit for volume. I never through the about this before. The way I came up with this was that non-standard units ARE units. The people in the old times (at the time of a king) used pitchers to measure water. Some would be bigger than others, and some would be smaller. That's what makes them non-standard. They're not all the same size. I still wonder what are all the tools for measuring? And where did it originate? Why did people make rulers?

I wonder that does the pitchers still like carry the water with out it spilling and grams goes with scale because in a scale you can carry grams and then find out how many grams it is and grams goes with units for weight and I even have a question about does non-standard unit go with standard unit or it doesn't and I thought that because non-standard unit is the opposite of standard unit.

One of my partner said that units of temp could also go under the category temp words.I agreed because Fahrenheit and Celsius are also temp words.Another partner of mine said that cups is also a non standard unit of measurement. Then I thought for a moment than I agreed because there could be cups in many different sizes. So One of my partner said that weight could be a headline for the category tools to measure weight.Since I got I got a a little confusion I asked "could you give me more evidence"?Then I noticed that we use a scale to measure weight then agreed.

Wow I never thought Scale can go with Units For Weight because I thought you can only find if something is heavier than another.I learned that you can find the wait of something on a scale, for example:If you want to find out the grams of something you can put two equal sized cups on two sides of the scale, then put you object on one side and keep on adding grams one two three until it is equal and count how many grams you put in the cup that does not have the object your using to way in grams!

I discovered that ice and water go together because when the temperature gets hot it melts instead of ice it turns into water and if it is in a freezing temperature the water turns in to ice so ice can melt into water and water can freeze into ice. I wonder if Becker goes with cup because they are useful for the same thing so I am shore that beaker goes with cups.

We connect scale whith grams because you can see how much gram is a little wood pice ways and other suff the big thing about grams you can see what one ways more and see how much grams it ways another connection is that it connects whith non-standard unit because you can stone on a scale band sticks on a scale to that was not my thinking that was one of my parents thinking non-standard until also has hand in it to and pitchers but I for got what pitchers are but hands you don't measure any thing whith it because if you look at your moms hand and your handle they will be different size so if you both measures something whith your hands you will both get different answers we use rules and tap measures instead that why hands are not a stander unit but it could be her are some non-standerd units stone sticks hands pitchers .
